Ouestion of the day 01/06/2008

Originally designed by James Parker and tested by Wayne Rainey the rights to the design would later be purchased by Yamaha to build this very unique machine that was years ahead of it's time. Which bike was it and why was it so unique?

Note: This is a production machine and not just a prototype.

The correst answer was offered by Sportrider.

The GTS 1000 was the first modern era bike to use a non-telescoping front end and what a machine it was. Unfortunately the bike just never seemed to catch on.
