Need motorcycle tourism ideas

Hello,

I am trying to convince my father that he should take a break from the Yukon and travel south for a mid winter motorcycling trip.

What I am wondering is if anybody here can give me ideas to pass along to him? Track schools, MC rentals (BMW), best roads, etc. All ideas are welcome.

My father rides a BMW R1150RT and a KLR650. Unfortunately, both are surrounded by snow and very cold temps.

Any help you can pass a;ong would be fantastic.

Thanks.

Send him to SoCal. Rent a bike from Sportbike Rental, Eagle Rider, or one of the many BMW dealers who rent. Travel to the Grand Canyon, the eastern Sierras, Hwy.1, etc. It may not be clear every day, but it will be better than where you are now.

Also i have heard Vegasrider say that they rent BMW's in vegas. If you have never been to Vegas it might be cool but you can also go out to the hoover dam, grand canyon (as stated above) and many other places. and im sure its warmer there than where you are

Thanks for the ideas guys! I will be putting a package of info together for my father and working on him to make the trip in the next 3-4 weeks. When he gets back riding season will only be two months away!

Thanks again. Quick, useful responses.
