That was some off.
Hope he recovers soon but I think he's being a bit optimistic about Sunday. I saw Rossi looked a bit shocked when he saw it, I doubt Pedrosa had quite as much of a sympathetic view on it.

That he is alive is a testament to quality riding gear. That was just a terrible hit. It made me cringe. Glad he is still here to race again.

Let's see...Lorenzo is currently tied for 1st in MotoGP with Pedrosa. Valentino Rossi is in 3rd and Stoner is in 4th.
If Lorenzo is out from that crash (I think he's DOWN but not OUT), than Pedrosa is 1st with his Honda.
