Recently purchased off eBay a good looking set of rear turn signals for my CB.
What arrived was nothing of the sort... they sent me a welded, rusty pair of front signals. The bag with the parts was clearly labeled "front turn signals." We contacted them to get what we ordered, and they told us that they had sent out that item a few months beforehand. Oooook, so I wanted my money back. We told them to email us a shipping label so we could send the darned things back, and they told us that if we wanted a refund, shipping was "our problem." Their reasoning was that "sometimes bad things happen." so now, I don't have rear turn signals, and I'm about to pay this guy AGAIN for shipping. i'm out $6 and I didn't get squat except major inconvenience. will never deal with him again. first time i've ever gotten screwed on ebay. |

Hi Suzzie, welcome to the site. We have a local talkshow host here in Atlanta named Clark Howard who's show is on consumer advice. His stance on ebay is " Don't buy anything on ebay unless you are willing to lose the money you spent." This is not to say that everybody who sells on ebay are crooks, the large majority are not, but there are people who ebay who don't use good business practices. Sorry that you got stiffed but remember, people who don't "Do Right" get thiers in the end.
