Hi guys, I've tried searching combinations of what i'm looking for but to no avail so I started a thread.
It seems be that any bump will cause my fork to rattle or make a weird thud noise while dampening. It just started and I haven't gone into any potholes...my last suzuki sv650 did it and I'm just wondering if it's normal or if something is loose. Does that post even make sense?:wtf: |

Re: Fork Jolt/Rattle
Just to clarify, we are not talking a tank slapper where the front end shakes uncontrollably?
If not, its probably dead steering bearings. The FZ bearings are rather, uhh, cheap. All Balls are the way to go for a replacement. They are sold via parts shops. All Balls Products

Re: Fork Jolt/Rattle
Ditto what Pete said. But they may just be loose and in need of adjustment.

Re: Fork Jolt/Rattle
well, I only have just over 4,000 miles...would they wear out that fast?
and no, it's nothing dangerous...more audible than anything else...you only slightly feel it |
