side luggage for FZ6

Hello,

I am interested in soft side luggage for 05' FZ6. I want it to be able to be removed and installed with ease, (I don't always want it on) DOes anyone have a recommendation. Thanks Todd

Pretty much all the soft luggage that you will find for our bikes are mini-saddle bags that are intended for sport bikes.

For the most part they all attach by having two large velcro straps that link together and hold the saddle bags. I run my staps under the seat and between the grab bars in the rear. When placing them there that passenger foot pegs are still accessable.

I personally am running the Nelson Rigg set up. Tailbag and mini-saddle bags. They work well together and seperated.

The dowco luggage system that I tried did not work very well because you had to use both the tail bag and the saddlebags at the same time. You could not run only the tailbag because the only way it attached was to the saddlebags.

i have the yamaha fz1 saddle bags.. love them and they fit great. no problems throwing them on or taking them off
