Re: 200 mph rated tire?
I'm not aware of any outside of shaved racing tires that you'd not want on the road.
I have to ask... "Why?" We all know that the FZ6 isn't getting there... heck, even a stock Hayabusa can't do it without some mods. You got me straight-trippin' Boo!

Re: 200 mph rated tire?
Yes, the ZR rating on a DOT tire has a minimum speed rating of 186 and it is suggested the consumer call the tire manufacturer to get a specific limitation on the maximum. The standard Z speed rating is 186mph. You will not that MA Augusta limits the speed of the F4CC to 195mph simply because of the tires.

Re: 200 mph rated tire?
Here's a great "200 mph" article featuring the speed kings themselves.

He needs to go to Maxton where the ECTA makes it official. The salt flats aren't as smooth as Maxton. One of my dreams to to be at a Maxton event and see these 200 MPH Club members actually doing this! Have him read the article I posted above. Good stuff!!!

Re: 200 mph rated tire?
Boo, running on the salt flats is quite different than a street. If I were hitting the salt I would be contacting the folks that do it. When I lived in California that was the Southern California Timing Association. The folks used to run on El Mirage dry lake just outside Adelanto California.
