Re: FE and Turn Signals

I have that FE, just without the side tabs on the bottom. For turn signals I have little ones that the license plate bolts into. The main problem I had was lighting for the plate. I ended up putting an LED within a screw in that center hole. It doesn't light the plate too well, but I asked a cop and at least in my state the law simply states there must be one, not that it has to light the plate I'll take some pics tonight (while I install my new front turn signals ).

Re: FE and Turn Signals

I have a pair of those signals on my FAZR6 FE. They're really bright and get people's attention pretty quick with the faster blink rate.

I'm wondering what color the LEDs are when lit since it looks like only the side tab is orange. I think my state DOT only likes red and orange for signals...

Re: FE and Turn Signals

I used the same F.E. with mini signal lights. You may need to open up the slots for the signal lights to fit thourgh. The connection tab spacing on mine was a little oversize. Looks great, but I had to cut and solder the original wiring for the new signals lights. I also bought a plate light but have not connected it yet, I ride mostly during the day back and fourth to work. I think you will like your bike without the fender. I like the silver on the FZ6. Ken
