KneeDraggers.Com -- Do they keep anything in stock?

Having some serious bad luck trying to order from kneedraggers. Don't believe their "In Stock - Ships in 3-5 Business Days".

In April tried to order a Puig WindScreen for my FZ6. Item shows in stock. Placed order. A day later I get an email saying it's back ordered and eta is 6-8 weeks. Huh? Okay, I cancelled.

Last week I tried something different, I ordered a CorTech tail bag. Item shows in stock. Placed order. A day later I get an email saying it's back ordered and eta is 4-6 weeks. What? Again? I cancelled.

I emailed them but I only get the canned FORM LETTER RESPONSE.

Nice customer (lack of) service kneedraggers.

I ordered a Puig from kneedraggers over a month ago...still waiting for it to arrive. They no doubt have little control over the delivery time, but they have 100% control over what their website says when you go to place an order.

Wow, Kneedraggers has went way over and beyond the call of duty for me. Call and be nice and talk to someone. They really cant help thing being backordered. The software system probley has a error. If you give them a oppertunity to fix it and make it better for everyone they will appreciate it.

They are nice people.

Yea, same thing when I ordered my Scorps except I didn't cancel.

And if it says backordered 4-6 weeks or whatever, and you call them at 4 weeks and a few days to see if they got their shipment yet, they'll kinda be jerks and tell you to chill out and wait. I mean, at least they could give you some BS about how they're doing everything they can to get your order to you as quickly as possible, but oh well.

Sorry about your luck with them, I haven't used them since.

I've only done one order with them, some kind of an odd ball part, don't even remember what it was now...I think it showed up in a week or so.

I still have the best luck with my local Cycle Gear. Usually get special order items in 2 to 4 business days. No shipping costs.

i have never used them, but i think that if i ever do i will be calling to confirm stock before placing any orders...

I've had mixed results. First order I placed shipped out next day, and they had the lowest prices around.
I placed two orders this week, and I got the out-of-stock mail for both. Trying to work out options, but I totally agree that they need to tell you up front that they don't have it in stock.

That doesn't work because that's what I told them when I talked to them twice and they didn't really seem to care about updating their website. I mean, their site looks nice, but what's the piont of the features on it if they don't use them.

Reflecting on my previous post, they weren't really mean when I called them, and I actually got someone and didn't have to hold for a long long time, but they didn't really seem to care if my stuff was backordered or not. I guess they just made it feel like I was annoying them even though it was the first time I called.

I guess I just have a nuetral opinion, I wouldn't boycott them, but I wouldn't neccessarily use them again unless I was sure they actually had ready to ship whatever I was going to order.

Yeah, I get that feeling too -- I get the impression "we have so much business that who cares are your pidaley order". I talked to Alex C first time and then to a Ken for my last order. Both seem to care less about me. Either I keep the order in, which requires a half-down non-refundable deposit, or cancel it.

With that attitude.. I will not order from them again (which I'm sure they could care less about too!).

yea i had 2 experiences with kneedraggers too,,,second one was very smooth and fast shipped,,,,it was the counter sprocket...

the first one was the puig windscreen ,,i have ordered the black one without knowing that it was flat black,,,i received it,,contacted them that i want an exchange,,,sent it back,,,got the dark smoke back pretty quick....it cost me some exchange fee and shipping back amount ,but it wasnt their fault...
