i would be interested in how fast he was going... My mesh is rated for 85 MP/H so i know that it is not the best, but it "Is better than nothing"

Re: wear mesh? important!!

i wear denim under my mesh when i know im hitting the highways or over 80kph. i dont trust mech over 80kph even if its rated for more. theres a lot of variables like what if you apply downward pressue as ur sliding or whatever.

but ya, mesh is good for casual urban riding under 80kph imo. over it be sure to wear denim under it at least

Even then the jacket attenuated the damage. That is all it can really do. You just have to decide comfort vs. cost vs. protection.

Re: wear mesh? important!!

my commuter jacket is mesh but, it has leather forearms with armor and a leather spine protector. if I'm going out to just go riding I wear my one piece suit.

I wear the same gear no matter how I plan on riding, because as we all know sometimes plans change.

definitely. look at the jacket, that would have been his arm.

but i would like to have zero injury if at all possible. just the way i am. i wear icon leather jacket, aftermarket armoured back and chest, mesh overpants, jeans, aftermarket knee and shin protectors, and power ranger boots. riding with anything less i feel naked.

Re: wear mesh? important!!

I don't do over 80 in my mesh EVER! And, I've upgraded the armor in it as well.
