Post Official Yamaha Parts Catalogue

US/CANADA:

My Yamaha Prompt - Parts Catalog

very handy...it's every possible piece ever...

and im my experience OEM stuff tends to be cheaper than getting it thru a distributor as they have a markup. this way there is no markup from the middleman (which would be your local dealer).

so what im trying to say is ordering from here will be cheaper than thru ur dealer I think. double check tho.

contact info:

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA
6555 Katella Avenue
Cypress, CA 90630

Customer Relations
(800) 962-7926

For all other countries try here:

http://www.yamaha-motor.co.jp/global/link/index.html

pick your local site from the list, and try to navigate the site for the "parts catalogue" or "parts and service" or just "parts"

Re: Official Yamaha Parts Catalogue

best i could come up with for the UK site is a downloads section:

Downloads Overview

sorry United Kingdomians, your Yamaha branch makes ****ty websites

(but if it's any consolation, the Australian one was way less helpful and not organized as well either)

same goes for the rest of you Euro's

Re: Official Yamaha Parts Catalogue

So my 07 FZ6, is it a FZS6W or a FZS6WC?

And what in the heck is the difference?

Nevermind the WC is the Californicated model.

the C is for canada. but just check the VIN to be sure

after you have picked the year and model and it opens the parts catalogue for that model, there is a list of options down the left side of the page...

hit the one at the top for "-MODELS IN THIS CATALOG" and it shows a set of VINs and explains which it applies to. the C is for Canada i am 95% sure about that (but not 100%)

I think "C" means California because regurations of emission are different from other states.

Europian model?? Yes possible if you can read Japanese. Sorry I don have time to make procedure written in English right now.

That's what I am to understand. "C" = California.
