Tire Changer?

I'm looking to buy a tire changer for the house. I'm more than capable of doing it myself, and was wondering if anyone has tried this one? I will be getting the motorcycle adaptor as well.

Re: Tire Changer?

haven't used a manual tire changer since I was 11 lol, don't know if i could handle using one... been spoiled using the ones we use. but as far as doing it yourself the back tire is very easy! biggest thing is breaking the bead..

Re: Tire Changer?

Friend of mine has that one, works quite well. I have used it to change several tires. The clamp which holds the wheel in place has a wide adjustment range to accomodate different sizes, the rod that goes thru the center of the wheel is not as rigid as it seems it should be, but overall is a pretty good peice of equipment.
