Update on my deals gap ticket of love.

Ok I was bad, and exceded the speed limits set by the pope of TN on the dragons tail.

I recieved a ticket for 56 in in a 30. In a construction zone. It was not a construction zone and I was going 54 but oh well.

I talked with them, and I am eligable for traffic school, and they will recognise KY traffic school. (I.E. dont shoot deer from your truck school.) It costs $111.50 for them to accept a traffic school cert. ??????? but oh well. no points. It costs $15 in KY to go to traffic school. So total is $126.50 with no points. No to bad. The ticket was pretty close to $275.00, so take radar/laser protection if you go play on the dragon.

When you first mentioned gettting a "performance award", Angela was jealous we didn't get one.

Construction Zone!

Where on the gap where you? When I was up there over the 4th there were't any signs up anywhere.

However the THP are tricky up there. They like to hide up in the bush...

Re: Update on my deals gap ticket of love.

It was not a construction zone. He told me 54 then wrote it for 56. The lady at the place said none of the others were in a construction zone for that day, so they just decided it was a paperwork error.

Hey Nate, tell Angela I will send her my performance award when I am done. LOL LOL LOL

Re: Update on my deals gap ticket of love.

I didnt see this one till the blue lights started.

He was off in the woods on the LEO's lair corner. Dark brown and tan car in deep shadow.

None of the uphill riders provided any warning of LEO ahead. I always warn other riders. Probley all the poor harley riders could do to keep the bike upright. I had just stopped to help one and his wife that had crashed in corner right before I got my ticket.

Haha, I just got my letter today too.

They offer two new options now, you can also take the course online or by renting a DVD from blockbuster or one of those moviecube boxes. Costs $50 bucks instead. I'm not sure which I'm going to do. I'll probably just go to one of the weeknight ones for $15.

Hey Pete, would you maybe wear a Rastafarian wig? I hear judges love that kind of stuff..... LOL

They said specifically no dvds, no online, you have to go to a classroom and sit for at least 3 hours. I think I will ride the bike, maybe do a smoky burnout, and pull a wheelie leaving. Who knows maybe I will get extra credit.

Man I feel robbed. In TX the course it 8 painful hours on the computer. I think I've take drivers safety at least 5 times in the past 14 years. Thank goodness is all I can say!

I do like the burnout idea!

I was thinking of telling the judge that I heard a loud bang, had a flash back, and gassed it! Damn IEDs....
