Painting Front and Rear Hugger
I saw lots of threads on painted front and rear huggers. Me wanty!
So how about those of you who were brave enough to do it yourself give a step by step on what we rookies can do? Oh yea...pics too! I ask because I hear it's hard to paint the plastic parts we have on the bike, but I painted models before...seems plastic would be fine. Do I have to sand first, how much paint each coat, how much clear coat, how much base, etc etc Anyways, step by steps would be great rather than 1) Buy paint from Color Rite and take to shop or 1) Go to Maaco Thanks for helping everyone out! |

Re: Painting Front and Rear Hugger
For heavens sake don't go to Maaco I had a truck painted there when I was 16. There is a reason they are cheap!!! They painted over dirt that's right they did not even wash the truck before they painted it!!! I had the truck repainted 3 times before the paint finally started to stick and even then it looked like poopy!!!
