Fun ride with two Ultra Classics today.

I went riding with a friend who has a Ultra Classic, met up with another of his friends with the same bike. They were scouting a poker run, milage, fuel stops and such.
We went down on of my favorite roads across Nolin Dam. Good twisty road. I rode in the back so there would be no trying to keep up with the sportbike type of wreck. The guy I didnt know led. He was flying man. It was cool as hell to see those two heavy monsters getting it. It was no where near the FZ's ability but it was still a quick fun pace thru the turns. I would lay way back on my favorite sections, I told them I was going to, and then catch up, thru them. It was hella fun.

Anyway it is possible to have fun riding with Harleys. Just dont be in front. A lower than comfortable pace gets my other friends Nightster scrapeing. If I let him lead, I can just stay back and roll thru the turns and just putt along the straights.

Re: Fun ride with two Ultra Classics today.

I rode with a couple Harley's in the past, and they could get down with those beasts. I was truely impressed, and had a blast riding with them.

I'm glad you had fun, and enjoyed a great summer Sunday. It rained here most of the day, and I chose to take the car.
