Lightbulb Painted Vs. Puig

Hey all, just bought my first bike about 2 weeks ago and did my first small mod, i've seen some of those Puig windshields but honestly don't like the look so i painted the stock windshield with Krylon Plastic Fusion, just tapped off the edges and went to town. i guess i was just wondering if i was the only one that has painted the windshield?

Re: Painted Vs. Puig

That looks real sharp. Did you paint both sides, or just the inside??

Re: Painted Vs. Puig

Did you use a flat black or a glossy black? It looks shiny in the picture, but could just be the outside of the windshield reflecting.

That looks exceptionally good. I wouldn't want to give up the ability to see through the screen though.

Re: Painted Vs. Puig

I've painted my windshield. I have the 2004 and now it looks like I have a normal windshield. It's painted on the outside to match the paint I also sprayed on the fairing.

It depends on what you want.. the piug redirects the air. if you are fine with stock, then painting is fine, but if you need more wind protection get aftermarket
