Cali rider Interview
Somebody who likes tequila
What do you do for a living? I'm retired but I used to work with plastics machinery and tooling. How long have you owned your FZ6? Since January 2004 What other modes of transport do you have? An 07 R1 and an 06 Acura RSX Type-S If you could have any bike what would it be? A new-in-crate 1986 Honda NSR400R with a complete set of spares to get me through the next 10 yrs.! What are your hobbies apart from the bike? Racquetball, tequila, reading non-fiction books. What is the best place you have visited on your travels and why? A friend and I were in the geographical center of Nevada, 1:00AM on a clear summer night. Absolutely dead quiet, I could see for hundreds of miles in every direction and more stars than imaginable, it was awesome. We realized that the closest other humans were in the aircraft flying 20-30 miles away from us. A life-changing moment.. Describe yourself in three words? Honest, inquisitive, confident. If you could redesign any household (including garage) appliance what would it be and why? A refrigerator that captures the waste heat and stores it for other use. It is the most inefficient appliance of all. Which invention in history would you most like to have come up with? Something that hasn't been thought of yet. If you ruled the world, what is the first thing you would outlaw? Every form of social intolerance. If you were forced to entertain us all at the Forum Christmas party - what would your talent be? I would sing. I'm not any good at it, but I assure you that it would be entertaining!! Snow or beach? Beach. Windows or Mac? Windows. F1 or MotoGP? F1 is more technically intriguing, MotoGP is a better show. I need both.. Which track or album rocks your boat? The Analog Kid by Rush What is your favourite film? The Sting Meat or Veg? Veggies rock. What is your favourite beverage? Espolon Añejo tequila And finally, your number one rule in life? Always take responsibility for your actions.

You know, I'm just trying to be a bit more social, although I guess mentioning tequila as a hobby might give some of you the wrong impression!

Re: Cali rider Interview
No wrong impressions here! Last week when John was up here for vacation, he went to a tequila bar one night and then hit the twisties all day the next day. That tells me that he can appreciate good tequila without going overboard. No one could have hit the tequila hard and done that ride the next day.
