New stuff on it's way - Braking Wave Discs, Racetech Springs & Emulators, Ohlins Rear Shock, TB ti's!

Ok folks, "mod fever" has hit an all time high in my neck of the woods!

Am waiting on the following...

Braking Brand Wave Discs, Ohlins Rear Shock, Two Brothers Titanium Exhaust, Racetech Springs & Gold Valve Emulators for my Forks! oh and a set of Carbon Brake & Clutch Levers.

Racetech Springs & emulators bought locally. TB Ti's, bought from this site. Ohlins Shock from Hard racing in the States. Braking Wave Discs, bought locally. Carbon brake & clutch levers from Superbikes online in Ireland!

None of it has lobbed just yet, and i am going to wait for all of it to get here, before i put it all on, get it put on, and set up (fork springs, gold valve emulators & rear shock).

Brake Discs, Pipes, and to a lesser extent, levers, will help drop some weight on the bike, and obviously improve performance in each of their dedicated area's.

Same re performance for Springs, emulators, and rear shock

This lot, should be the last of my performance mods for a while..or at least till my bank balance recovers!

Down the line, i am looking to get a seat cowl, bellypan, and some carbon fibre - rear hugger - chain guard, front fender, engine covers, tank pad.

Here's some photo's of what's on it's way to my front door, will post photo's, and impressions of installed items once they get here, where possible.

That is gonna keep you busy for a couple of days.

Are you sure those levers are carbon, I have seen some for £19.99 on Ebay that are "carbon look".

You should have sprung for the MotoGP style levers with the drilled out ends on them. I really want some of those.

I reckon you might be right....did quiz them about that, as they are so cheap...but they reckons they are the real Mc Coy...have serious doubts, but if that is the case, then i have a spare set of levers for a "rainy day", and i will just have to go down the route i originally was going to, and get some Pazzo's, or Rizoma levers. Soughta bought them on a whim, just because i really dislike the standard silver levers so much!, will tide me over at least, looks wise, until i want to fork out the cash for the top end stuff.

Yes, bike "porn" at it's best! Man i have just laid down the cash for PCIII, Dynotune, and braided lines in the last fortnight too, have sorta taken a deep breath and gone, well if i gonna do it all, i should do it now, before summer hits, and i ride to the Moto GP at Phillip Island.

That's if i can swing enough time off work! - i flew over last year, and hired a car to get to the track, and even though it was a SAAB Aero 90 soft top, it sucked!, every guy i saw on a bike, i was just like...gimme your bike!)

With a New bubs on the scene, it took some serious talking to convince the missus i needed all this stuff!

Oh i will relish in telling you all about it, have never owned a bike as new as this one, and have never been in the financial situation to be able to afford such extravaganzes before, so, whilst i feel like i am spoiling myself, i also feel great excitement, am a bike nut, and all these mods are a dream come true...i bought the FZ6 as i saw it as a bike which is well suited for mods, and have really been enjoying the journey.

Could be at least another couple of weeks before i get to get it all together, it's a long way to send stuff to Australia!
