Cool Homemade Fender Eliminator

I bought a FE kit on ebay from creese1...
eBay Motors: 0405060708 Yamaha FZ 6 FZ6 SILVER Fender eliminator TSM (item 250283643059 end time Aug-23-08 19:37:10 PDT)
never shows up...
so i made one.
It took about two hours to make and install.
I used the original plate light and reflectors.
cost about $5 between aluminum and bolts!!!
I'm finally cool now!!!

Re: Homemade Fender Eliminator

this is custom work here... you could do whatever you want.
You would have you get wider pieces of aluminum to mount the turn signals, and you would have to cut custom holes to fit the stock egg shape.

Nicely done - been thinking about doing this myself. How do you like those LED signals you've got on the back? Can you actually see them from the back side (with the little translucent orange tip)? Saw a set of them on egay and was thinking about buying them.

Re: Homemade Fender Eliminator

that's a good looking mod for home made. Have you considered painting it black to hide the silver appearance? I'm sure it will look better painted black.
