Ok, so I made my very first mod to my bike. I purchased some carbon bar ends for my bike and installed them today. For the most part, I do like the look of them, but I do have a minor concern: weight. The original combined weight of the bar ends on my bike were around 1 1/4 pounds (.56 kilos), but the new ones are a little under a pound (.42 kilos). Will this make much of a difference on how the bike handles?
Many thanks! X

Re: Bar Ends
Bill,
I'm very intrested in your silicone caulk idea. How much did you use? Is their a particlar brand that you used? How much did it help with vibration? |
