Painting Footpegs?

I'll soon post pics of the mods I've done but I would like to know how can I remove the left footpeg to paint it? I've tried to remove it but the gear shifter doesn't allow me to pull the pin out that holds it in place. Please help. Thanks.

Re: Painting Footpegs?

I would say that you are going to have to remove the shifter lever. but make sure you do this by removing it from where it goes into the motor its one bolt to remove it just make sure you put a mark on the teeth and the linkage so you can line it up properly again. if you remove the lower linkage you'll probable run into some adjustment problems.

Re: Painting Footpegs?

this will allow enough room to remove the pin but it won't remove the shifter completely.
