2006 Fz6

I am buying a 2006 FZ6 with 230 miles. Never been dropped or raced etc. What would be a fair price for a buyer?

with only 230 miles i would be looking for a couple things, does it come with any sort of factory warranty? New bikes get 1 year out of the box no matter the year, so with 0 miles it would have that. if it has the warranty i would say $5000ish, if there is no warranty or just a 30 day or something then i would say $4500 or so, it is the last design, so the new design makes it less desirable to most buyers, also i would insist on an oil change, the first few hundred miles get a lot of metal flakes in the oil which (with so few miles) i would have to think would start settling on the bottom and should be flushed out before running the bike. But i guess that would depend on when the miles were put on, this month or 2-3 years ago...

I have no idea what the price would be in the states.

I have the 2006 FZ6 and it is a good bike to have. I would ask how come it has got such a low mileage on it just out of curiosity.

I got my stock 06 FZ6 with 1012 miles on it for $4k, this was February of this year. He was asking $4500, but needed to sell it quick so he took my first offer. I was willing to pay asking value, but thats the fun of negotiating.

I would say a fair price would be between $4500 - $5000. Anything below $4500 would be a good deal.

Also, what is his reason for selling after only 230 miles? Has it been sitting around since 06 or is it just a recent purchase?
