UK Meet 18th & 19th October 2008

So are we decided on the 18/19th then? I'd like to get something in my diary ASAP. The closer to London the better for me, but I can probably meet up with some of the London folk and we can all ride up together to wherever we decide.

+ 1 on that I'm only 20 mins from London so can easily meet up to ride along.

David, do you have a preference for the 18/19th?

Either day would probably be OK, but given the choice Mrs Doorag would probably be happier with Sunday. That way, I can giver her a break from the baby on Saturday and then bugger off on Sunday.

Sorry for being so unclear I meant to ask if the weekend of the 18th/19th is your first choice for a weekend in October.

Re: Uk Meet 11th Oct 2008

Hi Cloggy,

Thanks for the PM to remind me.

I've now comitted to some charity work on Saurtday the 4th and Saturday the 11th for Asthma UK. So I'm afraid the first two weekends in October are no longer an option for me :-(

I will however be around for the 18/19 or 25/26.

My thoughts location wise are that London would be okay, as I live fairly close and it would be easy. However it could be nice to get away from the city somewhere? I'm happy to meet up anywhere south of Derbyshire really!

Dave

Re: Uk Meet 11th Oct 2008

Well time's up, the final result of the poll is, surprise, surprise.....

The weekend of the 18/19th October

Hope you guys have a great time

As it's later in the month maybe Jonac will be fit for the meet as well

Nelly could you please change the title of this thread to "UK Meet 18th/19th October", cheers

As I will not be attending the meet (but will be doing my own ride on the weekend 4/5th) it would be wise if someone else (who will be taking part) takes over the organisation/administration, unless of course you all choose to start in Amsterdam .

Who is man enough to pick up the baton

Of course this could be done by several people, as many hands .......

Any helpers out there?
