Just noticed these new goodies, now available from Yamaha Australia, for the FZ6...

I saw the new tank protectors at PI....they are very good quality...expensive, but great quality.

Yeah, we generally get ripped off by the corporations here, not just for bike bits either... we get ripped for everything.

Yep.......they are overly priced, and as Dave said, we get screwed....unless we shop OS, and buy stuff from the States, with which the Aussie dollar compares favourably with these days...then we get a decent price!

Is just a pity we have to "ship' stuff from one side of the world to the other, to get a good price!

Lol....that would be right.....Yamaha Australia buys something we all can, and doubles the price, cause it's them that's selling it to us!

Nice one Humpy....i think you just saved me some cash, as my present tank pad is looking a little worse for wear right now!

Beats me , my mate down there at Yamaha told me that there is a minimum 80% mark up on EVERYTHING in their store ..... We get sooooo screwed over , do you realise how much that makes half of our gear to make ??? Absolutely BUGGER ALL !!!!!!!! Yet we pay exorbitant prices for everything , sometimes living down under really does have its setbacks....
