A guy I know has a car tire on his FJR. Wanted it for long distance riding.
He is a very good rider and is doing quite well with the big old rear tire.
Nothing I would try but it can be done.

Check the comments. This is a reverse trike, two wheels in the front, one in back.

So it actually makes sense to do this.

I thought it was a bike too.

I know a couple of long distance riders that do this. It makes sense when you ride long enough to go through 3 rear tires in a year and aren't in it for the twisties.

I've seen a car tire on bike before. It doesn't look all that out of place. It's mostly been on cruiser or touring bikes.

then how do you explain the leaning? it leans one way or another and thats got to be really bad for the tires....let alone traction.

Plus I'd doubt the sidewalls were built for that kind of force vector...
