Scorpion EXO-1000
Hey;
Some of you guys were thinking of buying an EXO-1000 full faced helmet at one time. Did anyone get one yet? If so, care to share what your thoughts or opinions are on the helmet? I'm looking at them and considering one.

I had an opportunity to check one out at the local BMW dealership during their open house last month. It has really neat features, like the dual visors. Kind of like what you would see in a fighter pilot's helmet. I think that's where they got the idea. Also the air pump for that custom fit around your cheeks is a nice feature too. I think it's the best helmet around for $350. I would advise for everyone who's looking for a new helmet to check out the Scorpion EXO 1000 and weigh this particular helmet as an option. I'm still waiting for a particular color. They are all back ordered.

I like the EXO 1000. It's on the short list for my next helmet. I need to see if they make a darker replacement visor for it though. I like the air pump idea a lot. I bought my KBC TK-8 when I weighed 203 lbs. I'm about 170 lbs now and my current helmet is feeling a little loose in the cheek area of my face.

that's kinda disappointing to hear about the optics not being right, not sure exactly what he means. I'm assuming some kind of distortion?
