Stunt Show: More Disney Stuff

Today we went to the Lights, Motors, Action: Extreme Stunt Show.
These little Opel's have been gutted and have Hyabusa motors in them with some neat transmissions. 4 speed forward gears and a 4 speed reverse gears. It is a bump shifter and to get it into reverse you just twist the shifter to the left and start bumping it.

It is a neat show, it is still a bit hokey in the end, which I didn't tape, but after all it is Disney. It is designed to give you an idea of how they make the neat chase scenes that you see in the movies. They also have a car that has a driver hanging off the side of the car that is used for shots that require a remote controlled car scene. Also, one of the hero cars (red) is set up with the body backwards. See if you notice the rear steer front wheel drive car, lol. When I saw this the first time I was confused. I was thinking, "Who the hell puts a rear steer on a car?"

Also, here is a picture of the bikes that are used. Gas Gas motards. I wasn't aware that Gas Gas produces a RFS bike or a motard for that matter. But check out those Frame Sliders

Disney World in Orlando, Fl. The show came from Walt Disney World in Paris a few years ago as part of some special thing. But I guess they decided to keep it around.

Yes, I have been here for a week. We left on Friday morning and we are taking off this afternoon to head back home.

I have got use to shorts and tee shirts down here, now I have to go back to the 40's and 50's back home.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. See, my mule don't like people laughing. He gets the crazy idea you're laughing at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it . . .
