Speeding biker facing charges
Wednesday, September 03 - 08:13:51 PM WEST VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Police say it wasn't a motor vehicle act offence, but down right criminal. A 27 year old Vancouver man is facing dangerous operation of motor vehicle and causing a police pursuit charges after being stopped twice on Labour Day for speeding on the Trans-Canada in West Vancouver. He was first clocked doing 150 km and ticketed. Minutes later, police saw him going the other way down the highway at 160 km. Officers gave chase, but when speeds hit 200 km, they called off the pursuit for safety reasons. However, using the information from the first ticket, officers were waiting for the suspect in his parkade and arrested him. Im thinkin an IQ of maybe 25 or 26 tops...total dumb-ass...

I think the limit is 100 km/h in that stretch, maybe even 90, so I think that 50 or 60 over the limit is frowned upon by the local traceys. I do it all the time on my way home from work, usually 10 or 11 pm and not really many cars on the freeway.
