How fast were you going on those passes? What's top speedo readout you got on your R1?
BTW, I can ride my Trek Bicycle (mountain bike) with no handle-bars at 35MPH  Last weekend my wife and I hit up three cities on our ride; started in Newport Beach, rode through Huntington Beach, arrived in Long beach and then headed back to our starting point. Registered 44 miles round trip with an average speed of 15 MPH - that is my wife's fault.

 that is real cool. I think you do deserve for the 175 if it were not done in a safe place... think my hubby has topped out at 160 (admitted) I know he did 145 with me on the bike with him, and I thought I was going to throw up. Can't wait to see the commercial!!!!

I can't wait to see that commercial! The same thing happened to me and some friends in high school when we got our prom dresses - we were ordering and she asked if we would be in a commercial when we picked them up. It was good fun!
