just an observation... but ever notice the names of specific items?

for example, toilets. whay do they have such masculin names? American Standard, Bemis and my personal favorite "MansFeild" whats up with that?

why is a half ton pick up a 1500? an F-150?? there's a lot more of these. I don't know I'm just bored.

the bath tub at my new house is Lasco... not very manly but, i see where you are going with this...

I'm sorry but the toliet and the bath tub make sense to me... When looking at stuff for my new bathroom I was most concerned about the toliet my wife was most concerned about the shower/tub.

Oh and the internet says the 1 in F150 or 1500 is the class of the truck.

Yeah. 1(50)=1/2 ton, 2(50)=3/4 ton, 3(50)=1 ton.

I know that, my point was why add the extra number?

why isn't the 1/2 ton a 1000 or a F-100 at least that would make sense.

Marketing.

Kind of like selling something for $9.99 rather than $10. It's a psychological thing.

On a side note, I do believe Ford made an F-100 at one point.

The bigger the name or the more numbers or letters, guys gots to have it! It's a compensation for something? I don't know

I like this one, the "Crapper" toilet....am thinking this is where the term "crap" came from....
