make sure you leave your helmet off so you will have increased visibility and wear flip flops so you have a better feel for the gears....

Get a two stroke bike and change out the power band, or put an extra one it.

I have heard that the orange bands add more bottom end, and the blue ones tend have more top end power. Also, I have heard it works best if you put the bands inside the clutch basket...

Oh and dont forget to wear shorts. Gives you a better indication of speed and you can feel the pavement better.

Don't forget to go shirtless with a backwards ball cap . Oh yeah, forget the flip-flops, barefoots fine, that way you get more feedback from the bike.
