Last year I went on a trip to luxemburg (with a group from my work). We actually stayed in a hostel in the centre of Trier on the German side of the luxemburg border (near Echternacht), the hostel had a courtyard which was locked at night, so the bikes were safe. Trier is a nice town with plenty of historic (mainly Roman) stuff. we actually only did one day of riding around luxemburg, but they were great roads and nice hilly scenary. I don't remember the route but I can easily ask one of the guys who organised it last time. Last year they had the route as a tom tom version as well as a detailed route planner. Let me know if you're interested, I can always email or PM it to you.

Just out of curiosity where are you traveling through in Holland?

Were planing on leaving luxemburg and riding up through Deutsch Belgischer naturpark and heading towards Maastricht then Antwerpen and back down to Brugge before heading back to the tunnel.
