New Gear ?'s

I am looking into getting the Cortech FSX Jacket. Anyone have any opinions or comments/suggestions/recommendations.

also, as far as color goes... is it standard to get a color that matches your bike and helmet. I am leaning that way, but I havent seen my bike yet in person (08 cobalt Blue on order) and the blue gear I am seeing doesnt appear to be the right blue. should I just play it safe and get black..

Scott

Re: New Gear ?'s

Scott, as you know I've ordered the same color. My '05 was Galaxy Blue and my helmet and jackets all have blue in them. Rainsuit is also half blue. Pants, boots and gloves are all black. None of my blue gear will match the Cobalt since it is so dark a color but I'm OK with shades of blue.

Remember, you WANT to be seen out there. All black isn't a great choice unless it incorporates reflective stripes throughout. You're invisible to all drivers so do what you can to stand out.

Re: New Gear ?'s

the blue doesn't have to match, just being blue will be close enough, i think the trick is that if you have a blue bike not to get red gear.

Re: New Gear ?'s

I gave up. I have a silver/black cortech jacket and black motogp pants with black boots. My helmet is the same color as my green ninja right now. I ordered a silver and black helmet to match my cloths rather then my bike since I don't want to necessarily be changing helmets every time I change a bike. Though, now that I ordered the FZ6 I hope not to change bikes for a while.

That is probably the "smart" route, good thing nobody ever accused me of thinking things through...
