I would have an FJR for the longer trips.

Re: What would or is your second bike?

Got 3 street bikes and the one that looks like an old police bike (2005 Roadstar) has just a bit over 1,100 miles on it. Can ya tell I don't ride it much? Hey, it was her idea so I let the kids (adult) ride it. Here ya go:

The FJR is a sweet ride for long distance and the R1 is awesome for the fight but they really suck after 250 miles in a day.....

Re: What would or is your second bike?

The FZ6 is my second bike, well actually 3rd but second in riding order. My 04 FJR is my main bike along with a KLR that I have had for years as my forest/desert bike. Bought the 6 as a day/play bike.
The FJR is an awesome machine, on a trip to Colorado the GPS max speed was 150 with a fully loaded bike. Very capiable in the twisties, plus all day comfort.
The 6 is a fun bike for a day ride but after a couple hundred miles I am done. Yamaha builds some nice machines.

I would like the modified Bell 222 better known as Airwolf but it sits in a museum someplace. That's what I call sexy.......
