To leave the radiator guards on or not. pic

I have a 08 Black FZ and the silver guards on the radiator stick out pretty good. I took them off today because it was raining. I need to get them powder coated but they look pretty good off. Why would they make them Silver anyway?.

Paint them. I did it to my Blue 07 and it looks wicked.

The 08 naked FZ6 has them black as standard.

Paint the guards, or better yet take them and the rear sets and have them powdercoated black.

I'd leave them on until you've bought the almost mandatory frame sliders. One tip over could cost ya!

Just spray-paint 'em black... toss a few coats of clearcoat over it as well. I did so on my blue '07, and it blends in beautifully.

just remember as with all painting, take your time and keep it clean as possible! I didn't even use primer just sand (to make rough) and paint in light even coats. used about five or six light coats.
