Hello, I am thinking about purchasing the Scorpion Slip-on pipes from Pipe City. Someone mentioned that I may have to do sometype of adjustment to the fuel system. My mechanical skill will be tested just putting on the new exhaust. Any advice or suggestions will be welcomed.
Thank you, Saloman1 1 1 month owner of a 2004 FZ6, never had a bike before, now I hate my truck. Last edited by Saloman1; 04-23-2008 at 10:29 AM.. |

Re: Scorpion Exhaust
Your bike will run just fine with the Scorpions without messing about with anything else.
However.... A Power Commander will make it idle a bit better and make both your mixture and your local gas station owner a bit richer. If you feel you need to do "something" after installing the Scorpions, try a K&N filter first...the engine will enjoy the extra air. |
