Is there a headlight mod to have both side used in high & lows?
Was curious if one of the number of headlight mods changed the headlight configuration so it worked like a car, where in low both headlights are on in low, and in high both headlights are on in high?
Many mods I've read up on so far are more simple, usually just hooking the left side up in low mode (in addition to the right side, but then when its in high beam mode the left side is outputting in low and high, which is bad for the bulb.) Am I correct in thinking that all one needs to do would be: get a bulb with high & low and replace the right side, splice into the high and low wires so each headlight is hooked up to the highs & lows, then get a relay that will kill the electricity to the low inputs on the bulb when there's electricity on the high input circuit? Yes,
If I am not mistaken, some where on here a member was able to cut down the housing our the bulb or something to make another H4 fit in place of the H7. Not sure exactly where it is however. -bryan |

Try this: http://www.fz6-forum.com/forum/fz6-m...-socket-2.html (Real Head Lamp Modification ,Making a H4 bulb fit into a H7 socket)
I believe both Fred and cashcrzzy did a bulb mod to fit in the housing, end result is dual hi/low beams. Fred also machined an aluminium billet to hold the "mod" bulb in place. Just scroll down a little to see the end result pics. Good Luck
