0-60 whacha got?

I have been able to find a 3.4 recorded time from 0-60 as the fastest the fz will go. Has anyone gotten a quicker recorded time>?

that sounds close/identical to what ive heard/seen the fz in 0-60. my friends 1000RR does it in 2.5 or something. its ridiculous

It takes me 7.201 seconds to get to 98mph on my FZ6, thats my 1/8th time.

I have -1+2 gears, so my bike tops out at about 60mph in first, actual speed. I took a stopwatch and measured the time on my drag racing video for me to go from a standing start to 2nd gear, which should nicely approximate 0-60 time, and I get somewhere around 2.8.

If I were to guess, I'd say 0-60 in 3 seconds is about right.

0-60 is too quick to measure on a bike. 0-100 should be what people measure. The fast riders that I've talked to usually ride liter bikes for what they can get above 100mph.

here is a video of my very first ever 0-100 km/h try on the fz6,,,its not the best launch but according to my video editing software 0 to 60mph (0-100kmh on the video) is 3.17 seconds...it was the first day i put the pc3 on,,,using the stock map,,had the k&n filter installed already ,,thats about it,,the rest is standard,,,even with this launch if i can do 3.17 ,,this bike should be able to do around 3.00 maybe little bit less...but the thing is it is very hard to tell that with a digital speedometer,,,it jumps from 0 to 11 and from 98 to 103 in like 0.15 secs..
