Not hard but it takes some time becuase you have to take a bunch of stuff apart (the exhaust etc.). It serves as a good opportunity to take your chain off in one piece and soak it though. The swap is direct (and I owe this forum a write-up) except for the chain adjustment pieces of course (which are so much nicer than the pre07).

Have you noticed a real difference with the stiffness compared to the original?
