Joe Rocket back protector

i recently purchased a joe rocket sonic leather jacket. It came with a thin pad in the back of the jacket that is removable.

On the web site, they sell a back protector for $90. I suspect that it is nicer than the one that came with the jacket, but I'm now sure.

Any insight would be great. Thanks

Joe Rocket Product

Just about anything will be better than those styrofoam boards that they stick in all of the jackets. New enough has a bit more info, better pictures and a slightly cheaper price:

Joe Rocket CE Approved Motorcycle Back Protector :: New Enough, LTD

they also have cheaper options:
Alpinestars RC Back Protector :: New Enough, LTD

Hope that helps.

It is harder plastic yes. I would suggest giving separate larger BPs a look. I personally like the Knox brand

That I think is an insert for a Teknic jacket. Have a look at

1)Stowaway (softer) but very very light
2)Ricochet *harder if you preffer
3)Contour (the best but expensive)

Personally I found the best prices fot these at:
www.sportbiketrackgear.com
Oncycles.com - Motorcycle Accessories, Motorcycle Parts, Motorcycle Gear & Motorcycle Apparel
