Re: FZ1 your oppinions
I like the entire bike except............for the muffler! What the heck is that???????? I know, FUGLY! Other than that it is a beautiful bike.

Re: FZ1 your oppinions
If you get a chance to go to SMC Sheffield (formally CMC Sheffield), Jan (think it's Jan) has an FZ1 that she's had done up, lowered, various extra panels, it's lovely.

Re: FZ1 your oppinions
on closer inspection the fz6 seems to out-do the 600r......what am i missing? i thought the 600r was a higher performance machine than the fz6?
only real difference seems to be better rear suspension and wider rear tire.... the 600r actually has fewer horsepower it seems as well. hmm. well i wouldnt want to go to an r6 for in city riding, fz1 would give me extra kick if i felt so inclined. Elm, i have changed my mind, i disagree with your conclusion!!!

Re: FZ1 your oppinions
If the fz1 had an undertail exhaust I would rock it but it is wayyy too much bike for me.

Re: FZ1 your oppinions
i rode an '07 FZ1 before buying the FZ6. It's nice but I agree, that exhaust has to go! At the end of the day, the price of the FZ6 vs the FZ1 won me over.
I was toying over the idea of buying an FZ1 next year but our '95 Suburban gave up the ghost last week and has been replaced with an '06 Suburban. I'm gonna miss that old truck and the $0 a month payments on it.... The '06 is pretty sweet but the payments I'll be making on it means my FZ6 will be with me for quite some time which isn't a bad thing at all! |

Re: FZ1 your oppinions
Actually the FZ1 feels much smaller when you sit on it. I like the handlebar a lot so I am putting one on my FZ6.
