I still want to upgrade bikes. (07 FZ6 bought new has 9000 miles now.) Really like the 08 CBR1000RR but am having trouble justifying the cost, so I might go with the FZ1. Do the 09 yamaha's come out in the begginging of the month of October or the end? Anyone know? Prob going to go with a FZ1 to get my feet wet in the liter bikes. Would like to get rid of mine soon while it might still have some kind of resale. Prob have 12000-14000 miles by October.

I dont know exactly when the '08's came out (it was october for the cobalt) but I couldn't find one until the end of october... I told them I wanted it and for them to build it around oct 20th...ish?

2009 models are already starting to be released. Yamaha currently has 3 of it's '09 bikes listed on their website (including the new R6S). I think their plan is to roll out a few at a time.
