Moving to San Diego in August
I posted a thread a while ago about thinking about moving to SD. Im 19 and got the "okay" from the rents to head on out. Im going to be living with either my aunt and uncle or grandma, whoever I choose. Im going to be going to college out there and working. Palomar here I come!
I'm going to be riding out there, so ill be joining the iron butt club. (ive never ridden over 250 in one day, 2000 will be a challenge) I have a nice tank bag, and im going to bring as much as I can on the bike. I dont have that much to move, so if I need to I will have my rents send the rest in a box. Tough times ahead, but this is a fresh start to a new beginning for me. Hope to see some of you guys out there. Nick |

Heck, you only get to live once. You're making the right decision. I think it will just be heaven for ya. Have a safe trip out west young man.

Any one from there, Im going to be moving to Chula Vista? Any job ideas, I work at the Hollister clothing store here and can probably transfer there, but will probably not get enough hours.

Re: Moving to San Diego in August
I have an uncle & aunt who lives in SD. I visit them from time to time. SD is a very nice place. Oceanside is close by with a casino. I believe its called Pala. Last time I was there they were starting to expand quite a bit so there should be some employment opportunities. Plus the route to Pala is mainly country roads full of twisties. Should be a fun commute with the FZ6.

My family lives about 5 min from L street off of 805. from there go east about 5 miles and hit Otay Lake! From there you can go on I94 or through the canyons, i went on vacation and rode there, best time of my life!

Nick,
Man I just googled "Chula Vista" and that is so close to the border. Tijuana is like right there. You're gonna have so much fun... |

If TJ is your idea of fun, you can simply grab a bottle of tequila and jump in a dumpster. Pretty much the same experience and saves you the headache of crossing the border.
