Broken Screw
I don't have a fz6, I joined b/c a friend has one and thought I could learn some interesting facts in general about motorcycles.
My problem: I was takin off my seat and got one screw out, but it broke. The other screw on the other side, the head of the screw came off, so the rest of the screw is stuck in the hole. I was hoping for some help with how to retrieve the screw without messing up the threads. Thanks to all!! |

Re: Broken Screw
Sometimes you can cut a slot in the remaining piece and twist it out.
If it was so tight and corroded together you may be best drilling a small hole and getting easyouts or the things sears sells that turn backwards in a drill to drill and twist out.
