Is it just my bike or does it seem like the clutch cable is almost out of adjustment on my 08 FZ?. The lever is real loose and to get it tight I am almost out of adjustment on my cable. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem?.

I like lots of freeplay, just enough to tight portion to fully release the clutch. I actually go over spec on freeplay.

mine did the same thing, although my cable was never all the way out to the end of adjustment.

I had the same problem. You can adjust the cable freeplay if you remove the tank and airfilterbox. There you'll find the adjustment nut to take out the play. Good luck!

Thats what I thought. I thought there was a adjustment somewhere else on the cable. It is usually where you can reach it with removing things though.

Actually you can. I detached the cable in both ends and pulled it down towards the cluth so i could reach the nuts. That did the trick.

Thanks for the Tip lilleman that will save alot of time. That should be posted somewhere on here because I am sure some other people will lose adjustment soon.
