Thinking of buying FZ6K7 but have??

This guy is selling it private. The guy told me the bike fell over and he replaced the tank and the side transmission case. He said he couldn't stand looking at those scratches. The frame, bar end has scratches and mirror, grab handle, and passenger foot peg. I asked the guy if he could bring the bike to the bike shop to get it certified but he told me his insurrance ran out and he didn't renew it, so he can't bring it. It has 800 miles on it. Buy it or run? Anything else you would ask the guy?

You need to look over the bike and make your own decision.

Did it fall over while stationary or was he riding it. check the brake and clutch lever ends...are they both scratched.

this guy could have just been unlucky or the bike could have been abused.

Changing bits on the FZ6 is easy, you just need to get it at the right price.
