A buddy of mine has a Honda ST1300, very nice ride! However the little FZ will out run it.

Geesh, for a moment I thought I was on an X-rated motorcyle forum. You know, feeling out the FJR on the floor. Currently, I'm not attracted to the FZ1 after reading about her frame cracking probs.

I too love the FJR, and in a perfect world, where money plays no role it would be a great bike to have. I agree with bone man that the FZ6 is perfect for me, I use it mainly as a commuter, with a couple of longer rides every now and then. With the current petrol prices I just can't justify using a 1300 for commuting, and I definately can't afford the extra cash one of these bikes cost (my wife is likely to say, buy an economical small car for that sort of money, and I'll lose my ride).

I love the FZ6 as it is a great bike, economical and a great commuter but when I want I can play in the higher revs, and have a blast
