Question Anyone remove rear fender?

Has anyone removed their FZ6's rear fender? If so, does the back end of the bike get a lot more dirty without it? And how does it look?

Re: Anyone remove rear fender?

I know of at least one person on here that has removed the rear fender completely but many wouldn't recommend it because your rear shock is being protected by it so i've also seen someone cut/shave the fender back but left some to protect the underside a little, try going into the mods section and using the search function pretty sure somethings there

couldn't help it went and found the link for ya

Re: Anyone remove rear fender?

By rear fender do you mean the whole rear hugger or just the fender(where you mount the license plate)?

Here's some pics of johnnybravo08's fz with the rear hugger removed.. and H8 PVMT's fz with a cut rearhugger.

Took mine off a while ago as well; I kept the chain guard.
