'06 Lowering kit
Does anyone know if there is a lowering kit out there for the '06 FZ6?

Nope. As far as I know there is no 'kit' or linkage kit for lowering the FZ6.
Others have done custom seat mods and had excess foam removed to lower their seating position by about 1" - 1.5". Another possibility might be installing different rear/front suspension, but that can also effect your bike's handling.

not a kit, but maybe a starting point

Re: '06 Lowering kit
I've got a 2008 FZ6 set up for my wife. She is 5'3" and stands flat footed on it. Visit Hyper Pro USA - World Class Suspension Technology they have lowering springs for the forks and rear shock. I installed the rear spring p/n: SP-YA06-SSB023 it lowers the bike 30mm (1 1/4") and only cost $119.95. It also improved the ride of the bike.
