That's still pretty decent Mick....maybe just a weeny bit of judicious bending of the bracket would do the trick...just a few millimetres.

Nice work....have been looking at these at Maxi's...but they want $160 for one at the shop!!!!!

Yeah I thought it was pretty steady too ,the cam is a early model Samsung MiniDv ,will have to try it out on the freeway.

Re: My new camera mount

how hard was it to install the gear shift indicator? i'm still not used to my fz6 yet and can't always tell what gear i'm in. something like that would be very handy.

Re: My new camera mount

I have been looking at some cameras and camera mounts but the expense vs how much I would use it keep me from pullign the trigger. This weekend I am going to test just using my cannon digital camera on the $5 camera mount. If all works well I will be using it for the deals gap trip.

dang. that's kinda nice. great thing about that is you can still use a tank bag... as opposed to the other one that bolts onto your tank. i might be looking into something like that.
